Iceberg is a metaphor among many ideas by artist An Nguyen to express how the world could be seen in the eyes of a LGBTQ+ person. 

Judgments and social taboos are obviously the very first things to overcome regardings one’s appearance and the journey to find the true self identity. This creates such a smoke screen for any having doubts about that oneself’s values. Yet only you could know and see how deep is your iceberg and what people see is just what people want to see. Visibility to others does not mean it is what it is, because there is a free room in perceiving life diversity.  Perhaps life is more than what it is believed to be ‘beautiful’ or ‘normal’
